Driftwood

By Sarah O’Brien

Salty skin,

shivers passing,

Sighs breathed in,

As crescendos mass.

Waves of motion,

Forever tangled,

Rolling ocean,

breaching back.

Driftwood rests

Peaceful then,

Washing back to sea.
